WARRANTY of EFGBIKE
EFGBIKE provides warranty service and official customer support,which only apply to new products purchased from EFGBIKE directly.
Who purchases made through EFGBIKE'S authorized resellers or distibutor，please contact them to get after-sales service.
If there are any manufacturing defects，the quality assurance is 6 months and it can be changed for free.
This regulation applies to:
Motor
Motor hub
Controllers
Chargers
Lithium ion battery
Frame
Handlebar
LED front lights
Throttle
Scooter stem
Forks
LCD display
However,the warranty period for the side light strip，kickstands，brake discs and brake callipers is only 30 days or 10KM/MILES of use.
Warranty is void in the following situations:
1.Products are marked as sample
2.Products are purchased form unauthorized distributors or resellers
3.Serial number,trademark，or sticker have been removed
4.Products are dismantled，damage or defects caused by negligence，improper assembly， modifications，accidents，misuse，improper tools，extreme or stunt driving，water damage，improper cleaning solutions
5.Products are used in improper working envirnment，or wrong adapter and electrical power
6.Damageed screws，loss of screws，stripped screws due to over forcing
7.Unauthrozied service center repairing factor，improper maintenance
8.Products are rusting，loss of color due to environmental exposure or time of usage
9.Dents，scratches，cracks，defacement，not artificially damage
10.Aftermarket parts,collision, fire, accidents,negligence, environmental conditions,exceeding temperature limits,immersion in liquid,altering electronic systems,improper battery maintenance,commercial use.
TERMS OF LIMITED WARRANTY:
This limited warranty is not meant to suggest or imply that the scooter cannot be broken or will last forever. It does mean that the scooter is covered subject to the terms of the limited warranty. This limited warranty is void if the scooter is subjected to abuse, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, alteration, modification, an accident, or other abnormal, excessive, or improper use.
Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, including the results of fatigue, is not covered. Fatigue damage is a symptom of the frame being worn out through normal use. It is one kind of normal wear and tear, and it is the owner’s responsibility to inspect his/her scooter. Damage resulting from improper assembly or maintenance, or from the installation of parts and accessories not compatible with the EFGBIKE scooter, is not covered.
During the duration of this limited warranty, EFGBIKE will either repair any defective frame or component or, at our option, replace any defective frame or component with the same or most nearly comparable model or component then available.
This Limited Warranty gives the consumer specific legal rights. The consumer may also have other legal rights that vary from state to state or country to country. Some states and countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or warranties, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. If it is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction that a certain provision of this limited warranty does not apply, such determination shall not affect any other provision of this limited warranty and all other provisions shall remain in effect.
WARRANTY TERMS SPECIFIC TO E-SCOOTERS
This warranty pertains to any of the essential electric scooter components that are found defective, provided that the product was used in a standard and controlled manner and that it was maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions manual. Essential components include the scooter frame, electric motor, battery, display, and controller.
Corrosion on electrical components is not covered by the warranty. You should dry the contacts on the battery and other electrical parts to prevent corrosion and oxidizing. An electrical contact cleaner can be used to keep connections clean if needed. In extreme weather (for example, in a community where roads are salted in winter) you can apply battery terminal grease as a preventative.
FAQ ABOUT OUR WARRANTY
Q: I crashed and damaged my scooter. Is warranty coverage available to me?
A: Sorry, crashes or accidents are not covered by the warranty policy. The warranty only covers defects in manufacturing, not damage from crashes.
